From 1 February 2026, national changes in Aotearoa mean some specially trained GPs may be able to diagnose and start treatment for adult ADHD.
Ropata will not be offering assessments to diagnose ADHD or start medications.
We can still refer patients to external providers (such as private psychiatrists or other clinics) for ADHD assessment.
