It is with sadness that we will soon be saying goodbye to Dr Jake Aitken, Dr Emily Eason, and Dr Patrick Holla.
Jake’s last day with us is 9 January 2026. He will be joining Whai Oranga o Te Iwi Health Centre to work with the Wainuiomata community. Emily’s last day is 15 January 2026, as she and her family move to Auckland for new opportunities. From 27 January 2026, Patrick Holla will focus on skin diagnosis and treatment at Witako Specialist Centre and the Skin Institute. Until new doctors commence in late March and April, patients registered with Jake Aitken and Patrick Holla will remain on their holding accounts. MMH services for prescriptions and emails will continue to be available. To book an appointment, please contact the practice by phone.
We thank Jake, Emily, and Patrick for their dedication and all they have done here. We wish them the best in their next steps and hope they find happiness and success. Both colleagues and patients will miss them.
Sara Huse will return from maternity leave on 2 March 2026 and will be working reduced hours. Patients previously under Emily Eason’s care will be transferred accordingly. Between 15 January and 2 March, appointments can be booked with Dr Cheryl Archer.
