Saying Goodbye

In the upcoming months, Ropata will undergo some changes as two doctors will be leaving: Dr Jake Aitken and Dr Emily Eason, who are pursuing new opportunities. Additionally, Dr Patrick Holla will transition away from general practice to focus on skin cancer work within Ropata. Jake’s final day at Ropata will be January 9, 2026, while Emily’s last day will be January 15, 2026.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Jake, Emily, and Patrick for their hard work and contributions, and to wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

While it is goodbye to Jake and Emily, we are pleased to announce that we have successfully recruited several new doctors. In December, a new doctor will join our team, and during the first quarter of 2026, we will welcome five more doctors, along with the return of Dr Sara Huse from maternity leave.

Ropata Health values the importance of each patient having a named doctor for continuity of care. Currently, we are experiencing higher-than-usual demand, but we remain committed to maintaining our high standards of care. Your patience and understanding during this transition are greatly appreciated by our team. Further communication will be provided as we approach the new year regarding the replacements for Jake and Emily.
