Dr. Burcher joined Ropata in 2016 after four years working as a GP in the Wairarapa. Prior to training in medicine at the University of Auckland, he completed a commercial pilot licence. He enjoys the variety of work offered in general practice and getting to know patients over time.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys the outdoors, snowboarding and juggling three small children.
