All standard immunisations for children are free until they reach 18 years of age. You can make an appointment with the practice nurse for your child’s immunisation.
The New Zealand National Immunisation Schedule shows which immunisations (including boosters) your child needs between the ages of six weeks and twelve years, and when they need them.
These immunisations help protect children from preventable diseases such as:
- Diphtheria
- Measles
- Tetanus
- Whooping cough
- Polio
- Hepatitis B
- Haemophilus influenzae type B
- Chickenpox
- HPV
To give your children the best possible protection, make sure they have all of their scheduled immunisations on time.
