Cervical Screening Self-Test: A New Era in Women’s Health

We’re excited to announce that cervical screening has just become more accessible and empowering! The new cervical screening self-test is here, and it’s a game-changer for women’s health. The self-test allows you to take control of your health in a way that suits you best—either with assistance or in the privacy of your own space.

To make things even easier, a free cervical screening clinic will be held on Saturday, 16th November 2024, at Hutt Hospital’s Breast Centre on Pilmuir Street, from 8 am to 1 pm. Bookings are preferred, but walk-ins are more than welcome!

This screening is for eligible wāhine and people with a cervix aged 25-69. Whether it’s your first time or you’re due for a re-check, don’t miss out on this opportunity to look after your health. You can call or text Tracey at 027 3107 643 or reach out via our free phone line at 0800 729 729 to book your spot or learn more about upcoming free clinics in the Wellington region.

Taking this step means protecting yourself and your whānau. Let’s make our health a priority!
