Have You Had Two Doses of the Measles Vaccine?

With recent measles cases confirmed in Northland and Queenstown, it’s a timely reminder about the importance of protecting yourself and your whānau from this highly contagious illness.

The MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) is fully funded in New Zealand for anyone who has not had two doses. If you’re unsure of your vaccination status, it’s better to check and be safe.

If you believe you have not received two doses of the MMR vaccine, you can book in with us at Ropata Health.

Why vaccination matters

  • Measles spreads very easily – far more than the flu or COVID-19.
  • Even one case in the Hutt Valley could put many at risk.
  • Two doses of the MMR vaccine provide the best protection.

Booking is easy: Call us on 04 920 0800 or book online via our patient portal.
