At Ropata Health, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. This year, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with two incredible charities: Kokiri Marae Pātaka Kai and HUHA (Helping You Help Animals). These organisations work tirelessly to uplift people and animals in need, and we’re excited to help them make an even greater impact.
Kokiri Marae Pātaka Kai
Serving the entire Hutt Valley, Kokiri Marae Pātaka Kai ensures that no whānau goes hungry. Their welcoming approach means there are no criteria—anyone in need of kai is welcome. They also offer incredible initiatives like free gardening workshops to help whānau grow their own kai, along with assistance in setting up home gardens.
One way to support Kokiri Marae is by purchasing their delicious Rewana bread for $10. All proceeds go towards purchasing kai or essentials for their thriving community garden.

HUHA (Helping You Help Animals)
HUHA is New Zealand’s leading no-kill animal shelter, providing advocacy, rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for domestic and wild animals. They’ve saved tens of thousands of lives, and together, we can save even more!
Items we’re collecting for HUHA:
- Pet food
- Toys
- Clean second-hand bedding
- Other pet supplies
How You Can Help
We’re accepting donations for both charities at Ropata Health. All items must be received by 20th December 2024, so we can deliver them in time for the holidays.
