The Meningococcal B vaccine (Bexsero) is now funded for all children up to 5 years, all people aged 13-25 in any year of university, boarding school, and those living in specified close-living situations.
Giving Paracetamol before the appointment for under 2 year olds is recommended to prevent high fever.
