Ropata Health is introducing Heidi, an AI-assisted clinical scribe, to help our clinicians prepare consultation notes.
Heidi may be used during your appointment to assist with transcribing and drafting clinical notes. Your doctor remains responsible for reviewing and approving anything saved to your medical record.
We have informed patients that an AI scribe may be used at the practice. Clinicians will check with patients before using Heidi during a consultation, and Heidi will only be used if the patient agrees.
Opting out will not affect your care, enrolment, or access to services.
Heidi is used only to support clinical documentation. It does not make clinical decisions or replace your doctor’s judgement.
Ropata Health is committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your health information confidential. Any information used to support your consultation will be handled in accordance with New Zealand privacy requirements and our usual clinical privacy standards.
