MoH flu vaccination prioritisation

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that vaccinators must continue to provide the influenza vaccine ONLY to priority populations until the 27th April.  This is to ensure that those most at risk from influenza can receive their vaccination before supplies are made available to the general population.

Please be reassured that high risk patients are our priority for influenza vaccination at present. We will be inviting you in for your vaccinations from early next week onwards if you are in a high risk group. This is in line with the above Ministry of Health guidance. Thereafter we will be able to offer vaccinations to the rest of our patients.

High priority patients will be notified when they can make a booking. Please also keep an eye here on our website and on our facebook page for updates.

Please note: due to supply issues at a government level, we are now only able to order vaccines in batches of 60, so getting through everyone may take some time. Please be patient.
